Prayer and Chapel

Weekly Chapel

Our weekly chapel services on Friday mornings are inspiring, instructive, interactive and fun! Usually we have two chapel services, one geared for our students in kindergarten through 5th grade. Our middle schoolers enjoy a special chapel that often feature youth pastors and engaging speakers and topics. Worship time is sometimes led by the students themselves.

Prayer Emphasis

  • Students start each day with prayer in their classrooms. Often this is a time when children share prayer requests and learn that prayer works! Each child is assigned a prayer buddy. We pair older children with younger children and provide special opportunities for the prayer buddies to meet and pray together.
  • The first Thursday in May is National Day of Prayer and we observe that special day with a prayer walk at various “stations” around the campus.
This year, some middle school girls are meeting after school for a student-run Bible Study.
  • On Thursday mornings, parents are invited to “MOMS IN TOUCH” prayer time at the school. Prayers are lifted up for each family and staff. Call the office (686-9145) for more information.

Church Connections

There are more than 30 churches represented by our school families. In order to build relationships with the churches and pastors, we have established the Church of the Week Program. In the spring, we invite our middle school students’ youth pastors to have lunch and a fun time of games and craziness.

“The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.”James 5:16
