Financial Assistance

In order for students with limited financial resources to be able to attend ECS, we have a policy of waiving a portion of tuition for qualifying students. The amount waived is based on documented need, and the family’s prayerful assessment of its fullest ability to pay. Financial aide must be granted fairly, and only in cases of genuine need, since tuition amounts that are waived have to be replaced in the budget by a combination of fund-raising, contributions, and increased tuition rates paid by others. Financial aid is intended to be temporary in nature and will be continued only as long as the need persists. The maximum length of a financial aid grant is to the end of the current school year. The decision for granting financial aid is made confidentially by members of the Finance Committee, who review applications on a first-come, first-served basis during the committee’s monthly meeting. Who is eligible:
The Finance Committee will review financial aid requests from families who:
- Have completed registration for upcoming school year or the current school year and have paid the registration fee.
- Students currently enrolled at ECS who need financial assistance for the current year.
Application procedure:
Submit a financial aid application and return it and accompanying materials to the school office prior to the Finance Committee meeting, which meets on the 2nd Monday of the month.
All information on the checklist must be present and complete on the application.
